How to use the sharpening stone kit

Step 1: Soak the stone into the water for 10 minutes or until it stops bubbling.
Step 2: Insert the Whet Stone into the rubber holder, and place them on the bamboo base.
Step 3: Wear cutresistant gloves.
Step 4: Attach the angle guide to the knife.
Step 5: Use your right hand to hold the knife by the handle while placing the fingers of your left hand on the belly (middle) and spine (opposite the cutting edge) of the blade. The cutting edge should always be facing in the direction you are moving along the sharpening stone.
Step 6: Position the blade at a 20degree angle as you apply pressure to push the blade along the sharpening stone. Move from the heel of the blade to the tip on each stroke of the stone.
Step 7: After the first stroke, you can switch hands (left hand on the handle, right hand on the spine) and repeat the same process from step 6 alternatively, you can keep your right hand on the knife handle to reverse the blade around and pull toward you.
